The upcoming physiology conference promises to be an exciting event for researchers and students alike. With keynote lectures, symposia, free communication sessions, and poster presentations covering a wide range of physiological sciences, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn about the latest research findings and discuss ideas with colleagues. In addition, the conference will offer a student and early career researcher (ECR) workshop, providing valuable training and networking opportunities for the next generation of physiologists. Whether you are a seasoned researcher or just starting out in the field, this conference is sure to provide a wealth of information and inspiration.
Functions
In the tradition of the society, we will open the conference with the AuPS Invited lecture (at the St Teresa of Kolkata Building #421) and Welcome Reception on Sunday night. The Welcome Reception at The Ted Exell Terrace, Level 6 will be a wonderful start to the conference with the venue providing panoramic views sweeping across the city.
The conference dinner on Tuesday night is at The Plaza Ballroom an iconic event space situated at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre on Collins Street. Originally built in 1929, this venue provides a spectacular setting and award-winning catering experience inspired by today’s top restaurant food culture providing attendants with the perfect opportunity to sample the best of Melbourne food as well as socialise with your colleagues.
The student and ECR event is on Monday night at Stomping Ground Brewery and Beer Hall in Collingwood and is always a highlight of the ECR programme.
