Students and early career researchers are the lifeblood and future of AuPS. Discount student registration is available that includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for all sessions and tickets to the Welcome reception, student/ECR mixer and conference dinner.
Abstract submissions are encouraged for Free communication sessions and poster sessions. Submissions close on 5pm, 12th September, 2025.

STUDENT/ECR WORKSHOP AND MIXER
This year's Student/ECR workshop will feature Dr Darren Saunders from the Office of the Chief Scientist and Engineer. Dr Saunders is a brilliant science communicator and his insights after 20 years in academia and industry will be unmissable. For more details, click on the link in the workshop page. | The annual ECR mixer will be held at the Ruse Bar Parramatta, in Parramatta Square just 200m from the conference venue. STUDENT TRAVEL GRANTS AND PRIZES
Travel Grants Travel grants are available to a students to a maximum of $200 when travelling from Melbourne, Brisbane or the Gold Coast, $300 from South Australia and Tasmania and $500 from Western Australia. | Prizes In 1990, the Society instituted the awarding of prizes at each meeting for the best presentations (oral and poster) by graduate students in physiology and related disciplines.
